Design Metal Work Ltd (formally known as Ali-Fab) was established in 1994 by Alan and Darren Woollard who, between them, can call on over fifty years experience in the suspended ceiling industry. They both previously worked for Trueline Ceiling Products Ltd (now S.A.S. International) and Perfonit and were crucially involved in the development and production of mineral-fibre ceiling tiles, acoustic pads, Open cell and AL-Grid.

In the short time since its inception Design Metal Work Ltd. has grown and progressed from satisfying the needs of the ceiling trade to its present position of supplying major development contracts. These contracts include Cribbs Causeway Shopping Mall in Bristol, Ashford Euro-Tunnel Terminal and the new Vodafone H.Q. in Newbury. More recent major contracts include the Welsh Assembly in Cardiff and Terminal 5 at Heathrow.

Research and development, coupled with investment and commitment, is constantly undertaken to improve and enhance our services thus enabling us to accommodate the various and flexible requirements of the industry
and our customers.
